Converting Fonts to Outlines

Why converting fonts to outlines is a good idea

Converting fonts is an important part of sign printing. Without it, we might not be able to print your flash new font as we probably don’t have it installed on our end.  This is especially the case for custom fonts that aren’t typical run of the mill styles, and let’s face it – you’re going to want a custom font to make your brand stand out and look cool.  So, once you’ve gone to all the trouble of designing a great piece of artwork, you’ll no doubt also want it to print or cut the way it is intended.

What’s the solution? Convert your font to an outline! Easy.

How do you outline fonts?

Because we really like to be helpful, we’ve put together a quick YouTube tutorial to show you how to outline your fonts using Adobe Illustrator.  It really is super easy to do, once you know how, which we will explain.  Head over to our YouTube channel to see how to do this and learn more tips and tricks.
